All interested people to participate in the 2008 Sonora Cup Tournament, which has the main objective of promoting Soccer among children and youth through a tournament organized in a framework and spirit of fair play and brotherhood. The competition will be held under the following:
Terms and Conditions
Place and date: The tournament will take place in the city of Hermosillo, Sonora from October 10 to October 12, 2008, in different facilities. It will start with an inauguration ceremony on Friday, October 10, 2008.
Gender and Categories: There are 7 (seven) categories for boys to participate in. They are:

REGISTRATION
Enrollment is hereafter open upon the publication of the present notice. The participation of representative national teams is not allowed. For purposes of validating your registration, please send the Enrollment form and a photocopy of your deposit slip to the following address: Garmendia 201 C Norte. Colonia Centro, C.P. 83000. Hermosillo, Sonora.
FEES
The registration fees by team and to all categories are:
$2,500.00 until June 30, 2008
$3,500.00 until September 15, 2008
$4,500.00 from September 16, 2008

Participants: All the teams will be able to participate with:
1) Maximum 20 players, and minimum 14.
2) 5 maximum coaching staff.
DOCUMENTATION
The requirements are:
- Original Birth Certificate or a certified copy of it.
- United States Soccer Federation ID.
This documentation must be submitted on the day of registration, according to your appointment time, before the meeting of Delegates (Do not send it). For purposes of registration it is necessary that, attached to the photocopy of your deposit slip, you send before September 30, 2008, the list of players and coaching staff according to the Enrollment Form, filling out correctly the information requested. This information can be send by Fax or by Internet. Register your team before the above indicated date in order to avoid problems formulating the games schedule. Your registration will be valid as soon as the bank deposit is verified, and the Organizing Committee will draw up a Confirmation letter and the respective invoice.
AWARDS
The award ceremony will take place at the end of all championship games of each category. All the members of the team to be awarded should be wearing their uniform. The awards will be given as follows:

IMPORTANT
The team that wins the tournament three times will receive, as a way of recognition, a gold-plated carving of a Yaqui dancer.
COMPETITION RULES
Those that govern and originate from the Amateur League of the Mexican Soccer Federation.
ARBITRATION
This service will be coordinated by the Soccer Referee Association of the State of Sonora which is affiliated with the Soccer Association of the State of Sonora.
MEDICAL SERVICE
The Organizing Committee is not responsible for accidents that may occur before, during, and after the competition since they are a sport risk. However, there will be medical assistance where the games take place.
TRANSITORY: The issues not mentioned in this invitation will be solved only by the Organizing Committee of the Sonora Soccer Cup.
NOTICE: The first 50 teams that get enrolled will receive commemorative shirts. A diploma to all participants, and an official photograph of the team.
