Dear friends
We have been working for months to organize the Sonora Cup 2008, with the firm intention of improving the previous competition, which left us the great experience that we will use to make some aspects better for the benefit of the participating teams.
Due to the lack of venues to practice soccer at these levels, we are very pleased to have a space where each year the practice of this sport will be promoted; we firmly believe that practicing soccer will make a positive contribution in the training of children and teenagers, promoting friendly and family coexistence, courage to achieve victory, respect for opponents, and, above all, fair play.
We reached the goal of having the participation of teams from all the northwest states of our nation: Baja California, Baja California Sur, Sinaloa, and Sonora, as well as the neighboring state of Arizona.
We want to thank all people who joined us during the 2007 competition, and we invite you to attend and participate in the next tournament which will be held October 10-12. We guarantee an excellent level of competition, fun environment, and healthy recreation.
